BRIAN BABINEAU

Brian Babineau's photography career started in 1993 when he shot his first NHL game at the old Boston Garden at the age of 15 from his family's season ticket seats.  One of the images Brian shot during that game was used as the box cover for the EA Sports 1994 Hockey PC Video Game. 

Babineau's images have been seen in magazines, books, hockey and basketball cards, posters, billboards, online and on dvd's worldwide.  His photography has graced the covers of Sports Illustrated, ESPN the magazine, The Hockey News, The Sporting News, Hockey Digest, Hoop, Slam, Dunk Shot, Pro Basketball, Red Sox Yearbooks since 2002, Boston Celtics yearbooks and Parquet Magazine since 2003, Boston Bruins yearbooks and publications since 1995 and many others.  His work has also been seen in The New York Times, Boston Globe, Boston Herald, USA Today, Vancouver Sun, Spin, Blender, US Weekly, People, many hard cover publications and advertising work for Puma, Reebok, Nike and New Balance.

Today, Brian works as the official team photographer for the Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, game staff photographer with the Boston Red Sox, and house photographer for the TD Garden in Boston.  

Babineau has photographed The NHL for 20+ years including NHL All Star Games, Stanley Cup Finals, NHL Drafts, NHL Winter Classics, NHL Stadium Series and NHL Premier in Belfast and Prague and the 2011 Boston Bruins Stanley Cup Championship and visit to the White House.  Since 2003 he has also photographed MLB games including the Red Sox World Series wins in 2004, 2007 and 2013.  He also has photographed the NBA since 2003 highlighted by The Boston Celtics 2008 Championship win, 2 NBA Finals, NBA Rookie Photo shoots, WNBA All Star Games and NBA Europe Live in Istanbul and Milan.

Brian also specializes in concert photography and has photographed every major artist in the music industry in the last 20+ years.  Pearl Jam, whom Brian has been photographing since 1994 have used his images in exclusive Fan Club merchandise, as well as a poster release and photo galleries on pearljam.com.  New Kids on the Block has hired Brian since 2008-present to photograph their live performances, rehearsals and cruises to the Bahamas and Bermuda.  His NKOTB images can be seen on official merchandise such as T-shirts, Tourbooks, Necklaces, Buttons, Limited Edition Collectibles and Dvd's.
